Hard agree with this one.
Awards are to recognize the best players. If you start qualifying awards by activity, you might as well not have them at all. You start to look back at someone's career and say "well they only won those because such and such competition was inactive". Spec hit the nail on the head too, if you are getting beat by an inactive, either that inactive is better than you, or your current team isn't using you in a way that is good for winning awards. In which case, that's a reason to leave.
