I don't appreciate you taking that tone when I'm raising something I and others see as a valid issue.
We received a significant amount of applications on our last opening for intern applications. As we can only reasonably have one to two a season, we wanted to hire some of the people who applied last round that we thought had very impressive applications. We're simply working through that waiting list before we open up the next round!
You also don't have to wait for a formal application period to put in an application! If you or someone you know is interested in becoming an HO intern, have them reach out! We're happy to interview them and potentially add them to our waiting list!
