As per usual I'm going to take a very liberal approach to talking about my player and also include a lot about my user. If you know me, you know I spend an inordinate amount of time on the league. On Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons I sim test for Austin. On Monday and Wednesday afternoons I sim test for Dallas. Immediately after the NSFL games are over on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I begin entering the data from the latest rounds of games into the casino model to produce the spreads and over/under prop bets that the league is piloting. On Saturdays I've started to record a regular podcast and try to make that my only league related activity for the day but inevitably end up working on some of the larger sim studies that I'm interested in. All of this sums up to mean that I the activities that occur outside of gamedays - the preparation and other extracurriculars that go into making the league enjoyable - are my player/user's passions and hobbies. The result of them often mean I do sleep most of the days. My sleep schedule is completely out of whack - I'm writing this at 2:30am after all - because I find that I'm the most productive and insightful in the wee hours of the evening. That has become the prime block of time I can set aside to focus on some of the more introspective and technical league studies that I find so interesting. Current projects that would be "sub-hobbies" include teaching myself python to develop a scraper and automate some of the daily things I do, trying to completely shake up the defensive line meta, and learning more about sports betting than I ever intended to.
