Tier 2, task #8:
My experience with the league has been nothing short of amazing. The people I have met here have been amazing friendly people, and I have loved being here. I have to give special mention to Sylphreni, aka Greedy Sly, who has been a hell of a teammate and friend this year. He has helped me in many ways, including getting my podcast "NSFL Ramblings" up and running. Honestly he's what I want out of a teammate, someone who understands and hypes me and the team up all the time and encourages us when things don't go as planned.
I have been very satisfied with Eric's start in the NSFL, considering he's in the talks for DSFL Linebacker of the Year. I honestly didn't have many expectations for him going in, so it's refreshing to see him doing so good. He ended the year with 116 tackles, 5 forced fumbles, 1 interception and fumble recovery, 1 sack, and 7 pass deflections. I'd say those are amazing stats and I can't wait to see what he does next when he gets to the next level. Though if he has to stay another season in the DSFL, that will be alright.
The draft itself was a tantalizing and stressful but fun experience the whole way that until I was picked 17th overall by the London Royals. Eric didn't play his best games in the prospect bowl (though I think that's because updates were not counted into it yet) which made me nervous at the time. Of course I know now that activity is more important then stats so I am trying to be as active as I can. But at the time the wait felt like forever and I was counting down the days until it arrived. I joined a voice chat for the draft (which had everyone muted for some reason, but whatever) and I could finally relax when I was taken by the Royals. Honestly I thought the Bucs or the Coyotes would take me but I have absolutely no complaints on where I went.
Overall I can say that my time so far in the league has been great, and I can't wait to ser what the future holds. Maybe one day I'll become a GM who knows. I do have an idea for a DSFL expansion team but I'll keep it to myself for now. Hopefully the future will be just as bright as the past!
