Well looking at the Arizona Outlaws, I think it really ends up being a short list of who can be named and win an award. We didnt really have a good season and we are still very young, so it is not like we had an abundance of dominating players. But looking at Jay Cue and Heath Evans, they can definitely win and should win their own respective Positional Player of the Year. Jay Cue at Quarterback lead the position with completions, having 30ish more than the guy in second. He also had 150ish more yards completed compared to the man in second for throwing yards. He threw for 15 touchdowns and ran for another 2, contributing to most of the touchdowns that the Arizona Outlaws had this season. He ran for another 464 yards in a total of 100 attempts which was second for rushing on the Outlaws and 3rd for Quarterbacks in rushing. He actually averaged more rushing yards than Baby Yoda, who is the lead rusher for the Outlaws this season. He did all this when the Arizona Outlaws had the 2nd most points against and one of the weakest Offensive Lines in the whole NSFL. He only had one of his receivers that had an Overall over 90 in the Index which is one of the worst in the league aswell because of how young the Arizona Outlaws roster is. He didnt have many targets and was still able to thread the needle to his WR who are not as good as the other teams and against better secondaries in the league. The Outlaws and Cue had to play in the tougher ASFC conference and face each of those teams a total of 2 times and that is why I think Cue should be awarded for the best QB this season. Weaker targets and prtection, and going against the better teams in the league all while putting up astounding numbers compared to his peers.

Well there are many players to choose from, and a lot of them would be good options. But for me, I have to choose user Jason with his player Ray-Ray Jackson. There seems to be a lot of buzz around him and also, a little bit of mystery surrounding him aswell because of how quiet he seems to be around the board. He quietly improves his player while making no noise around the forum. Unfortunately, I am not in a discord server with him so I can not comment about his activity level there, but more and more he goes from being a late 2nd round draft pick in mocks to a middle of the pack 1st round pick, and that is justified here. He is also part of a draft class that has an average TPE of 145.83 FOUND HERE while being above that margin by a good number, holding 228 TPE as of May 27th pre update this week. He did have 40 tackles this season and 5 pass deflections as one of the higher earning Cornerbacks but what is not mentioned is how many snaps he had played throughout the season. It was disappointing for him as he could have gotten more involved in the plays, but the Grey Ducks have 3 Cornerbacks over the TPE mark of 200 and that makes getting snaps a little tougher when your team is that deep in your position. This helps Ray-Ray in a way, because he has great leaders and friends to help him with his build, which is why he is coming along looking like a super star. Already having his Speed at 83 and his Endurance at 70, with stats like Hands, Intelligence and Agility at 70 aswell, he is going to be able to keep up with the big boys in the NSFL if he does end up getting called next season. If not, he would return to the DSFL as one of the best Cornerbacks of that respective season.Goodluck in the draft my man, whichever team ends up with you has a future superstar in the making.

Who have you met that has made your time here more fun, friendly, and exciting? Have you been satisfied with your player’s early start? What was it like being drafted for the first time? Do you have any comments or suggestions for the entire league that you think should be implemented?

Honestly, I have been around leagues for a while now. The main problem I had with simulation leagues from when I started 9 years ago until now, it was the engagement of the community and being able to communicate with them and try to build friendships. The community that the NSFL has compared to other leagues to me really helped me get so involved and really try to stay active. I can kind of say that the quarantine and the social distance helped me because I stopped going to school which was my full time job and have been able to have more full time without really needing money or anything so it made me get more involved with the league. But the new people that I met here really made me stick around. I did not have much of a chance to spend a lot of time in the DSFL because the Outlaws decided to call me up but it was kind of a blessing in disguise. The young team and really the team atmosphere that we have in the Discord that everyone gets involved for the games and for conversations made me stick around. I personally did not think that I would enjoy the league that much considering I have tried to come back active with the VHL and I have been apart of an old football league that I forgot the name, maybe it was called like the MFA or something like that.
When it comes to my players performance, I really did not know what to expect. The one thing that I was not sure of was being a Defensive Tackle, they really do not get that involved with the game but it makes you appreciate the little stats you get from game to game. I also have noticed how the games that I do get a good amount of tackles, we tend to be in a closer game and have a chance at winning.
The draft was a very good experience for me. In past simulation leagues, I have always been pretty highly touted because everyone knows who I am in the Simulation Hockey League. They know that I will be active and I make graphics and what not. When it came to the draft, I signed up and created my player late so right away I will not being drafted high so I can possibly get drafted from every team possible. And then when I did get drafted in the 5th round and people realized only then that I had joined the league and that General Managers were not sure when I was going to go, it felt good. It felt good that every team was interested in drafting me and having absolutely no clue where I can possibly go. So pretty much, Arizona and unicorn was the guy that was willing to jump early on me and take a chance that I would stay active in a very deep draft. So the whole experience I have had so far in the NSFL has been fun as an underdog and most importantly, being in a lockerroom with who started with strangers and now I have some friends around the board.
