When taking a look at George 'corpsegrinder' Fishers career so far to this point I think I have exceeding expectations. I don't think a lot of people in the league thought that I would be a top defender for my draft class because I really didn't know too many people in the league and I almost never chat in the general room. I think that hurt my draft stock but either way I think Corpsegrinder's play on the field speaks for itself. I finished my rookie season with 90 tackles and that was good enough to be third on my team, the San Jose Sabercats, and 9th in all rookies. That is pretty good for a player who was drafted in the 6th round. I can for sure see George 'Corpsegrinder' Fisher making it to the Hall of Fame if he can continue to put up these high tackling numbers for the rest of his career. He is only going to be better as the seasons go on until he hits regression. My goals for him are to be a part of a championship winning team. I also want to be on a defense that is one of the best in the league. I am a team first type of player so I want our whole team defense to be great not just my individual stats. I think I am set up really well to have that happen in San Jose. Most of our defense is young but very active. I think with a couple of pieces added around corpsegrinder this defense could be great for many seasons. I really hope to lead the league in tackles for the season at some point my career. I would also love to be know as a player who can get interceptions as well as sacks. So far I have not gotten an interception in the league but I did get my first sack in the last game of the year. I think if I can improve my endurance and also my agilty I could be a force on defense. I am already capped out on strength and speed so I the return on the other attributes should be high. I also think with the game of football a lot of my success comes from those around me. I 100% believe in CK and his ability to build a championship team. I am very happy to have been drafted to the Sabercats and I look forward to the rest of Corpsegrinders career.
