Selflessness is one thing, but ultimately everyone wants to hear their own player’s name mentioned among the greats. Take some time, in 400 words or more, and discuss how your player’s (or past player’s) career is going so far. Are you matching any expectations you set out for yourself? Do you see yourself on a potentially award winning or Hall of Fame career trajectory? If your player is just starting out, what goals and visions do you have for yourself?
Personally, I don't really have any complaints about how my player's career is going so far. It's the first time I created a player in the league and so I don't really have the knowledge that I do in other leagues when it comes to building the optimal player build. That's why I've been asking around to people that have been here a while and some that have also had CB builds to really feel what I should be upgrading on a regular basis. I think my career got off to a start in which I was frustrated that I didn't go any higher in the draft. I felt like I did everything that I could to showcase myself to teams to the best of my ability but ultimately, that wasn't enough. I felt that if everyone was going to pass up on me, the team that was going to draft me was going to get a max earner. I'm glad it ended up being the Minnesota Grey Ducks because I was already in the locker room and was introduced to the team so it didn't take me long to get going once I was back on the team for good. I think my first full season was just average, I know I could've done a lot better because I was seeing my peers around the league producing at a very solid level for their teams and I was just average. I wanted to at least get a few interceptions in my first season and that was a goal that I had set in my head before the season had started but unfortunately, I wasn't able to get any. I was even able to get my first career sack in the postseason before I made an interception, which is definitely weird for me. I'm really hoping that next season I can really improve in the offseason and become one of the best CBs in the recent draft classes. I'm not sure if I'm going to be sent down or anything yet but some teams have been talking about potentially keeping me up right away which is a very exciting challenge for me. My main goal is to win a championship with the team that drafts me in the NSFL and that is my primary goal. I want to reward the team with my defensive abilities and to be able to win something with them would be the icing on the cake. If I do end up getting any awards or anything like that, it will only prove that my hard work paid off. But I'm aiming for championships.

This task is exclusive to non-recreate rookies of the S22 class and later. In 400 words or more, how has your experience been in the league? Who have you met that has made your time here more fun, friendly, and exciting? Have you been satisfied with your player’s early start? What was it like being drafted for the first time? Do you have any comments or suggestions for the entire league that you think should be implemented?
To be completely honest, I have had a very fun time in the league so far. I was debating whether or not to join the NSFL in the first place simply because I didn't want to be in too many sim leagues at the same time. But with everything that's happened with quarantine, I wanted to challenge myself and see if I was able to have productive players in multiple leagues. It's always tough to start an account on a new website because there's always people that have been here for a long time and they have huge bank accounts and so that's why I'm always reluctant to join a league. But I think it was very easy to get started with my player and earn money that I felt it would be pretty competitive when it came to earning. Even though some players would buy equipment for a large chunk of money while I can't afford it, the gap isn't as wide. Plus, football has so many multiple player positions to choose from that you can basically be anything that you want. When I first started off, I would say that Dewalt was probably the person that made it the most fun for me. He decided to pick me up on waivers and even though I didn't get to touch the field or anything, I was always able to have a conversation with him about what sort of goals I should aim for with my player and ways to get the best out of my player. I think I connected with BenDover quickly because we both support the Ravens and so it was easy to talk to someone that shares that same passion with you. Everyone on the Grey Ducks team, whether it was veterans that were being sent down or rookies that had been drafted with me, was nice to me and the locker room was so active that I always had excitement when I checked the discord, especially on game day. I was hoping for my player to be a little more productive in my first season. I was usually getting a couple of tackles a game whereas the other players in the secondary were getting interceptions but I knew coming in as a rookie that I had a role to play on the defense and I think I did that pretty well. Going into the drafted, I felt like I had been shafted a little bit because I thought I was going to go a little higher in the draft and after everyone passed up on me, I made it my mission to never miss a point task and update so that I could rub it in everyone's face.
