What's your favorite type of frog?
I think I'm going to go with some similar ones as I had for my rookie career in the DSFL. Aiming to nail at least one interception. It sounds like maybe interceptions aren't as common at this level given the talent of both the quarterbacks and receivers, so I might be expecting too much. That being said I had the same feeling going into last season and started the season with an interception after my first game so never say never I suppose. I suppose other than that, I'm sure being able to be in the Rookie of the Year conversation is something that I would be honored to be part of, though that means I would have to already be performing at a high level. Now that I finally have a home and had a quick chat with my GM, it's good to know what my future is. It'll be as part of the secondary group so in the end I'm just looking to be part of a young and exciting unit that hopes to be a key contributing factor to our team winning some games on the way to making a playoff appearance.
And as for favorite type of frog, I honestly couldn't tell. I don't even think I would like them. The closest thing I've seen lately was the toads in Naruto as I've been doing a re-watch of it for fun(???). Honestly it's been half enjoyable and half tedious with how rough the 2000's style of television is with its constant flashbacks. I get that they're trying to set up situations for emotional impact and there's definitely some of that which still lands, but when you've seen the same scene from episode 3 or whatever about 20 times by the time you get to season 6, I think you're over doing it. That being said, they definitely weren't made for binging style of viewing and there's not really a way that they could have anticipated somebody consume media the way that we do these days. I'm already getting off topic and giving off the impression of a closet weeb. I'll just go with Gamatatsu as my favorite toad even though toads and frogs aren't the same.
