Some of these I disagree with a bit, but I have to say I couldn't agree more regarding the rookie discord. When I started here a couple months ago, I left the rookie discord basically just a week or two after joining because it felt like just a pointless extension of general. From my experience there it seemed like a club where people like to hang out rather than a good source for helping out rookies.

I always found people to be pretty quick to help in the help channel or whatever it is called. The general channel definitely stays as a hangout though.
