(S23) - PT1 - With a Little Help From My Friends

Going into S23, it is an extremely exciting season for Slinky Claxton. Not only is it his rookie season in the NSFL, but also his first season with the Austin Copperheads. Already in the pre-season, anticipation has been ramping up to see how the team will decide to scheme him in their Defensive Line rotation. It is apparent that he is wanted in Austin and after being traded Claxton wants nothing more than to make the new squad happy. Off the field, he has been slowly winning over the teammates with his loveable charm. On the field, Claxton is hoping to fit in with their style and instantly start delivering for a Defense that many will surly come to fear by the end of the season. As for Austin as a whole, they had a slow start last year but finished the season red hot. They are looking to pick up where they left off last year and cruise into the playoffs full steam. The clear goal going around the lockerroom is to take home the Ultimus title and it is looking like they could have the legs to do it. It has been no surprise that their high-powered offense will be one that is tough to match up to. But the big question mark will be if the defense can help keep them on the field as much as possible.
