I think without a doubt that nobody was surprised by the down season that Baltimore had last season with the early call up of yours truly at quarterback when Corvo Havran left to join the Honolulu Hahalua. The Hawks had young rookies or second year players at key positions with aging veterans still holding on at others. The team was not exactly prime for winning game after game last season. However, all of that will change in the second season under Chika Fujiwara. With the addition of over one hundred TPE, and counting, to the QB, the Baltimore Hawks finally have the drive to succeed under the new players. The rookies around have all turned into more experienced players that want to crush this season. Players rising up to the challenge such as Lewandowski at TE becoming a solid receiving option with Asher Quinn stepping up to the mark as WR1 in the new offense. Joining the offense this season is Nick Kaepercolin who continued his streak of getting a touchdown in his first game in each league. On the defensive side, it is hard to mistake the leaders forming in Derred de Ville and Nuniq Annastesia who continue to strive for greatness. Our goal for this season is definitely making it to the playoffs with these new powers and to take the Hawks beyond. There is still plenty to see with the Hawks and even if this season isn’t the Ultimus, it surely is within range soon.
