After finishing the season with a league worst record of 1-12 last season, there's really no where for the Butchers to go but you this season. The team has gone through a major overhaul during the off-season with multiple players being called up including a key piece to our future in quarterback George O'Donnell. Additionally we added free agents Tree Gelbman and Tyler Oles Jr, as well as stud defensive lineman Mario VonPebbles in a trade with Philadelphia. We've even bolstered our offensive line with linebackers Perry Tucker Jr and Benson Bayley Jr switching positions.

We've already matched our win total from last season through two weeks so certainly we'll end up better than last year but expectations are still low. Despite so many additions, the team aside from a couple players is still very young. I don't think we're a lock to finish in last place as so many have predicted but I definitely don't see us vying for a playoff spot. I think one more season of development will see the team in really good shape, especially on defense. In the meantime, the locker room has been an active place of great discussion. We've been having fun and at the end of the day that's what's important; the wins will start coming.
