Heath Evans has been drafted two times now, once into the Developmental Simulation Football League and once into the National Simulation Football League, at 39th and 15th respectively. While Evans was fairly confident that he would end up going to Myrtle Beach in the DSFL he knew there were other tight end prospects that they were considering drafting. Once Phillips had left the board, Evans was certain he was going to the Buccaneers, this started off his career and ultimately led to his agent Thor being selected as the team co-GM two seasons later.
Evans also had strong suspicions about being drafted to the Outlaws, but didn't expect to be off the board so early in the second round. While he was a little concerned to be joining a team in a rebuilding phase the offence has utilised him as a lynchpin leading to a tight end of the year nomination in his rookie season. This season has continued to be more of the same with Heath seeing a significant amount of targets and another good chance at a nomination for TEotY alongside a potential pro bowl nod. The draft process overall was very exciting and Heath's agent Thor is glad he gets to be a part of the draft every season now
