(S23) - PT2 - Draft Day

I have been part of 2 drafts now. And both of them were awesome and exciting. I will tel you something about NSFL draft i have been part of. The time befor the draft is always very interesting because a lot of people contanct you and talk to you about your goals, your team spirit and a lof of other (sometims funny) things. I had a lot of good talks with all these team scouts and managers. And then the most important day of my young carrer came. The season 23 NSFL draft, The whole day i was super nervous because i really had no clue where i would end up. I hoped that i could join one of my friends in the hawks or the sailfish team. I expected to go round 2 or 3 and i thought that i would be number 2 or 3 CB in this draft. I waited round one and to an started to get a bit nervous because 3 other CB had been picked in front of me so far. The hawks picked another CB over me. That made me feel a bit mad to be honest. But then round 3 started and it was up to sailfish to pick. They first picked Mike Karpaasi and after that it was my turn. Bex said sarasota picks mikel van perkins and that i am the steal card they cash in on there. I was very happy to land up on that team with my mate James Angler. I immediatly talked to GM Frostbite and we had a great conversation. After 3 CB were picked before myself i got hungy to prove them all wrong. I wanted to show my new team that they can count on me and that i wooul to more then last season to improve myself and get stronger. So in the end i would say it was an awesome draft with a very good result for me. Next season when i come upp to the NSFL i will show no mercy with all the doubters.
