Going into the S22 NSFL Draft, I didn't really expect to be drafted that high. I wasn't earning much, I wasn't very vocal in any discord servers, except for the Myrtle Beach's, and I had position switched from linebacker to safety that I don't think many people noticed. So when I was drafted in the seventh round by San Jose, I was more surprised/excited than anything because, even though the seventh round isn't very high, I still expected to be drafted later. As for an impact on my player, it did more good than bad. Being drafted lower allowed me to be sent down and develop my skills a bit more better prepare me for the NSFL, and it set the expectations for me fairly low, because no one really expects a late round pick to perform well, so you can't really be a "bust" in the seventh round. Overall I'd say my NSFL draft experience was a good one, it set a low benchmark for me to either meet/underachieve, in which people will just say,"hey what can you do, he was a seventh round pick," or I can try my hardest and be the steal of the draft
