To be honest, when I was drafted into the Developmental Simulation Football League I had very little knowledge of the teams and the working behind the scenes, so I will write something about the Season 22 National Simulation Football League draft when I was picked in the fifth round, 49th overall by the Honolulu Hahalua. All teams but two had talked to me before the draft and there was one more that did talk to me but didn't seem very interested, so I had at least some clue where I would not end up, but to be honest I expected to be picked up by another team. Don‘t get me wrong, I love my fellow Rays and couldn't be happier that I was drafted by the that I was, just that I was getting some different signals before the draft.
Anyway, I was drafted at about the spot that I expected. Wide receiver wasn't a huge need for many teams and there were better options on the board for the teams who were looking for a receiver. I was the fifth receiver taken in the draft, which I think is still pretty good. Now I‘m a competitive guy so I usually check my stats after game days and compare them to the other wide receivers drafted in the same year and… let‘s not talk about that right now. But I know I can still improve, I have years of quality play ahead of me and I know once the experts do a re-draft in ten years time, they will talk about me as a great player.
