Franklin Armstrong is long past his draft days. He was in the S14 DSFL draft where he went in the 11th round. He was one of the last QB’s taken. DSFL teams regretted that decision as Armstrong won two of the next three Most Valuable Player Awards, won Offensive Player of the Year, Quarterback of the Year twice and went to three straight Ultimini’s winning one. Armstrong had one of the most prolific DSFL careers in DSFL history. In the NSFL draft in the following season, Armstrong, despite his amazing first DSFL season, went in the bottom of the 3rd round of the NSFL draft. He dropped to the Orange County Otters and proceeded to have one of the most prolific NSFL careers in NSFL history. Armstrong by now is a 2 time Quarterback of the Year, 3 time Most Valuable Player, 3 time Ultimus Champion, and 4 time Ultimus Offensive Player of the game. Armstrong is at the end of the road of his NSFL career but his draft day experiences have fueled him for his entire career and the chip on his shoulder is not going away. He has a chance to cement his legacy in the NSFL record books. He needs one more Ultimus Championship and one more MVP to break the record books. Amazing Armstrong!
