As a fan of the real-life Baltimore Ravens, my first instinct for any expansion question is "put a team in Baltimore!" But with the existence of the Baltimore Hawks that isn't really an issue. So with the lineup what would my second choice be? Well, New York is a huge market that we don't seem to be tapping into. So my location of choice would be New York. As for the name, I'm usually a big fan of having a connected brand to other sports, so I would have the Rangers as a choice but would ultimately leave it up to a vote among fans. It would also be a good idea since the expansion has to be equal on both conferences, to have the other conference team also be placed in New York, or New Jersey. This would allow for an easy to set up, a ready-made rivalry that allows the league to save money on 1 fewer stadium since the teams could share. As for the colors, I think keeping the blue of the real New York teams would be easy on the eyes, though I would go with a dark blue to set them apart from the Sailfish's light blue/white mix.
