I believe I've talked about this before on the site but as a Detroit Lions fan while I don't really have a strong connection to the city itself, I do think it's a city worth bring a sim franchise to. In real life it's a sports hub with a team in all the major leagues. The city of Detroit is gritty, tough. It's the perfect place for a football team and hopefully one that could actually be successful which is why I'd want to have a team there. The team name I like that I have thought about is the Detroit Mustangs. I'd probably have a logo like the Indianapolis Colts, so the horse mustang mascot but you still have the play on the famous Ford car as well and maybe even use that as an alternate logo somehow. Only thing that people may not like about the branding is I love the silver and blue colors of the lions but I know blue can tend to be an overused color in sim league branding, especially considering it's the main color of the two newest teams in the league.

Another location that I'd like to see a team brought to is Washington, DC if for nothing else to have a football team in DC with a name that's not racist. It didn't bother me as much in the past and I'm not trying to virtue signal or whatever with this but it just feels wrong to me that a team with that name continues to exist. If I brought a team to DC, a name that I like is the Washington Warhawks which is kind of a parody of the military industrial complex in a way though I know we already have the Baltimore Hawks right down the street from DC so it wouldn't fly, pun intended. And with the Liberty already existing, something more patriotic might be stepping on their toes a little bit too. I would just love to see some sweet red, white and blue uniforms.
