With the expansion into the pacific through the Honolulu Hahalua, it opens up the door to enter into the biggest population group around the world, Asia. Needing to be based in a country that is safe, American-friendly and a sporting nation, whilst also factoring in time zone difficulties, the only possible answer is Japan. As for the city, whilst many stadiums are for Baseball, a demonstration of their interest in sports popular in America, with Tokyo hosting the Olympics, it becomes a great, modern stadium that a team could take over. This is why the new expansion team should be based in Tokyo, named the Tokyo Tyrants.
With A rich history of fighting and striving to be the best, the Tokyo Tyrants look to jump straight into success with strict training and discipline, building a roster and culture on being highly intelligent, extremely hard working and dedicated to honing their craft. With their name sake being Tyrants, the team from Tokyo will be oppressive, not allowing anyone else to grasp victory against them and cruelly make this league their own. The team colours will be predominantly black, with a dark purple as the secondary colour, representing the royalty of this team reflected in their name sake.
A team in Asia needs to happen, and what better place to put them in than the world’s most populous city, with a bad boy vibe that plays right into their name and branding. Just like the Japanese, the team will be efficient, in skill, management and finances and will bring the NSFL to a much larger audience, elevating it closer to the world stage.
