If I were to create an expansion franchise in the NSFL, I would create the Djibouti Jackals. Most teams in the league are located in the United States, which makes sense, but given that the league doesn't actually exist, I thought it would be nice to push the boundaries of where teams can be located. And, since there isn't currently a franchise based on the African continent, I think it would be a great place for the league to expand to, both from a financial and a franchise standpoint. There are millions of potential fans in the area who would likely jump onto a new team, one that could quickly develop one of the most devoted fan bases in the league. As for the team name, Jackals, I chose something that fits with the location and provides that signature ferocity and intimidation factor needed for professional sports teams mascot. Jackals are also somewhat unknown in the animal world, so they fit the theme of teams having diverse and creative mascots as well. Lastly, Jackals are known to hunt at live in packs, which fits well with the tight-knit brotherhood found in NSFL franchises. Overall I think the Djibouti Jackals would be a perfect team for the NSFL, and I hope that HO understands the growth and success that would come from the Jackals creation.
