If I got the opportunity to name another team, this time I'd avoid Texas. My second idea that didn't end up happening when I created the Dallas Birddogs was to be set in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Instead of putting a team there, if I had a do-over, my team would be placed in Pittsburgh. Philly needs an in-state rival and the east coast of the US is woefully underrepresented in the league right now. I'm not sure on the name, to be completely honest, but I'd be open to considering input from whoever this hypothetical co-gm would be.
One thing I could guarantee about this team is that the locker room would kick ass. Dallas has been a huge success in its 3 NSFL seasons because we cultivated a locker room culture that has kept players engaged and interested in the league. We have vets who regularly contribute to the conversation from both of our prior two teams and I would look to carry this over to any future expansion teams I'm put in charge of. Personally, I'd prefer to be put into the NSFL, as the DSFL proved a bit too toxic and doesn't seem to be improving. But Pittsburgh would be the spot.
