Tychondrius Hood went into his Junior year season with the Florida Gators expecting to sweep the league and win a title. The team was as good as they were going to get and with a star quarterback and his rapidly progressing skill set, there was little doubt in his mind that the Gators would be National Champions. Sadly early in the season the Florida Gators star quarterback would go down with a season ending injury and with the backup being a young freshman, things took a turn for the worse for the young wide receiver and his top ranked school team. Tychondrius Hood would not let that get him down, and would make the most of the season by doing everything he could to help lead his team to victory week in and week out. While the team did not end up going to or winning the big game, Hood had a great season and gave Gator fans a reason to watch each week. Tychondrius Hood learned the value of having a positive locker room and what it really means to be a leader that season. While his team may not have achieved what they had set out to, Hood gained invaluable leadership traits that gave him an edge by keeping his teammates heads in the game, and having a great attitude and not blaming his young quarterback for the woes of that season. Tychondrius has become a great leader and plans on taking the skills he learned forward with his new team, the San Jose Sabercats.
