Well, I'm only in my second season so there hasn't been much of a dramatic change for my player yet. I could say though I have had a huge linked chain of events that lead to me to this point. First, I would regularly watch the other simulation football on television. That lead me to finding my way here when I randomly saw a sim football post on reddit. If not for the first the second never happens, and if not for finding that reddit post, I would have never found my way here.
I created, joined the discord, joined the forums, but was confused about people being confused when I described the "other" league. I wondered if I went to the wrong spot. Turns out, I ended up joining two different leagues, and I had to decide which to dedicate myself to. I wasn't willing to pay for something, I wasn't sure of so I came here.
That delay in my decision ultimately hurt my draft profile. I still have unread messages from scouts and recruiters that I look back on now and wonder what would go different if I read and responded quick enough? I planned to answer everyone, but didnt realize the draft occurred 2-3 days in advance and I was too late. Would have I still ended up on London or would have I went to Tijuana, Minnesota, Norfolk, or Dallas? I'm not sure, but I do wonder if I would have still made the Ultimini? What if I ended up keeping Tijuana out the title game? What if I helped some other team win their first title? Would I still had a great learning experience in the locker room? Would Baltimore still draft me since a fifth of their roster is from London?
A lot of questions, but for now I'm contempt with where I'm at.
