we lost Donatello to the Liberty too, he was huge for us at TE down the stretch. And Blake Alexander, though barely active, was a halfway decent built 3rd WR. We also added a rookie QB, meaning we had 4 new guys on offense which was a huge hurdle most new players(like myself) didnt expect.
Then we got 4 road games in our first 6 games, and then blew our first home game with a 76% win rate. The odds of us starting 1-5 were under 8%. When veterans say "sim is gonna sim" --- this must be what they talk about. Colby looked like Garroppollo last year and this year he's got Trubisky numbers for now(hopefully regression to mean starts right now)
Glad Syl has got us engaged with the sim, it helps us become more cognizant of the league aside from "Speed Rulez". It will definitely help those who like to sim. The idea still helps someone like me, who just wants to put rosters and lineups together and not necessarily become a strat-savant.
