My thinking on something like that would be, maybe the amount of regression that hits you changes if you use the pass. So instead of 25% your 2nd season, maybe its 30, or 35, something like that. So it's not just a get out of jail free card and once the time runs out, it still hits you hard. You'd also want to limit it, maybe 2 passes per player.

I`d say if we do something liek this, make it so you take double regression the season afterwards.
