I'm a newer member here in the International Simulation Football League (a much better name than before) so I can't go into as much detail as I'd like in what I think needs changed as some of it may be short term bias creeping in.
I have some things I'd like to see modified or changed. First, the simulation itself is too game-able. There are enough detailed analysis and reports that exactly define how each attribute effects the game. The speed 'glitch' is something for example. It makes it so that the optimal build for each position is essentially solved and, although you can have success with different flavours of builds, it won't be as optimal. Some way of mixing this up (either with a newer simulation tool) or obsfucating it would be great.
Second, contracts and money. Money is simply too easy to come across and there isn't any reason to spend it other than weekly training and gear. This means that the actual contracts tend to be pointless. Most people will take league minimum and make their money elsewhere. What you earn for a season is the same as a couple of tweets and a short media article. Money should be harder to hoard and harder to get, making contracts more valuable. We should consider deflating bank balances after each season to support this and making hoarding more difficult.
