I think one of the biggest unsolved issues in the league at the moment revolves entirely around quarterbacks. The first problem is that frankly, there are too many of them. It’s entirely understandable that a player would want to be a QB, since they’re the lead of the offense and all that. However, no ISFL teams have room for a QB right now (or already have replacements lined up), and a true rookie QB would be absolutely horrible in the big league. So with this combination, QBs are sent down in the DSFL for several seasons. But people continue to make QBs though, like this last DSFL draft for example, when there were 7 QB prospects.
So, when some DSFL teams are already running a 2 QB system, these new QB creates are screwed to an extent, since nobody in there right mind would want to run a 3 QB system, and other teams who already have 1 QB, if they’re capped, wouldn’t really want to draft a new QB who’d be at much less TPE.
As a DSFL GM, I've tried to brainstorm ways we could fix or at least partially resolve this issue, but it seems to be a dead end. People will always want to create as Quarterbacks, which is perfectly fine, and there's not much we can do to stop that besides warning them of the struggles a QB goes through. We just have to continue making it work ig, but it's still less than optimal.
