ultimately we thought that having that awkward phase would be better than waiting the 6+ weeks for the next offseason to do the switch. there are a few other phases of "fancy new isfl site" in the pipeline that we don't want to release all at once.
we might have to do extra hand holding and it might cost some recruits, but moving off of jcink sooner rather than later is where our heads are at. for older users it might be a bit of a culture shock but we're hoping that the design isn't too much of a burden, and since the forms behave all the same (save for tagging which is *slightly* different), they can help lend a helping hand as well.
it's probably worth mentioning that I'm actually IP-blocked by JCINK and i have to use cell data to access the forums haha
Is there also going to be extra monitoring on the reddit posts incase people have issues with the site and not being on discord? I only ask because I know when I started in the league I didnt know what discord was and wanted to join the league so I messaged whoever posted asking about it and I didnt get a response for about 3.5-4 months from the person. I'm only worried about losing members as my future with this league depends on decent sized draft classes so I'd like to know that all ground are being covered to help the new people when they show up.
