Oh wow, would you look at that, Arizona has the best offense in terms of PPG. They also have the best passing offense in terms of YPG. Cue had the 11th best rushing offense in terms of YPG and still carried his offense to become the best offense in terms of PPG. Armstrong had the best rushing offense in terms of YPG on his side, and yet the Otters finished behind the Outlaws in terms of PPG. Otters had the 5th best passing offense in terms of YPG.
Arizona's offense scored 392 points. Orange County's scored 398. Just to be clear on that one.
Also there's a bunch of talk about volume being better in here, and if that's your cup of tea then by all means. But you can't just ignore that that argument also means you have to acknowledge Cue threw five more interceptions on just 94 more attempts. Armstrong would have had to chuck a pick once every 19 pass attempts to do that on the same number of attempts starting from his current numbers. So the sum of Cue's volume "advantage" is 599 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. Those aren't exactly stats I'd want to add to my QB's numbers.
Ultimately people are going to have their preference on what set of numbers is better and I can live with that personally. What's silly to me is that people who voted Cue didn't vote Armstrong and (potentially) vice versa. There's no logical argument I can see justifying that sort of decision making.
