This looks great! Definitely one limitation/inaccuracy of my method is the first few picks being undervalued. What I don't understand is how you came to 5000, 3000, 2000, 1500, 1000 for the first 5 picks? If I'm reading right it was somewhat arbitrary just to give higher value to those picks (and I believe this is a better value for them) but is it possible for pick 6 to be worth more than 1000?
I'm on mobile right now so couldn't super review the numbers, maybe this is covered by your normalization to 100 then x 10 that would make it impossible for 6 to be worth more than 1000.
Either way this is very cool! And I agree the back end of the draft is almost always valueless, but it varies from year to year, scouts have to see who is/isn't inactive to adjust for that.
