Something happened in discord once and it changed my life forever. One time in discord in S21 before a game during the regular season someone came in the the Minnesota Grey Ducks locker room and hyped the team up. The team was kinda down because the team wasn’t playing up to expectations. The two seasons prior, the Minnesota team had won the Ultimini trophy. As I was saying, S21 wasn’t going so well and the locker room was pretty bummed out. Hardly anyone was talking and everyone seemed bummed out.
Someone came I to the LR and started shouting and hollering and swearing left and right. That user came into the locker room with so much passion and it got everyone fired up! Up to that point all the interactions in the locker room had been pretty low key and reserved. Seeing this users passion and fire and enthusiasm really got me excited! From that point on I’ve been totally invested in the league and have really poured myself into the whole deal. Wither with the locker rooms or with friends from the league or with graphics or doing cards and even sim testing. The league has turned into something very rewarding and a lot of fun! For me it’s all thanks to the one user. The funny part is, the user wasnt even on the Minnesota team for S21. Just a past duck/marshal raising hell and getting the team fired up!
