Being an offensive lineman isn't a glorious life, Chuck mumbles to himself as he walks to the sideline after Tokyo Drifters QB Jackie Daytona throws his fourth pick six of the prospect bowl. Hoping to cement himself as the top OL prospect in the DSFL draft, Chuck arrived to the prospect bowl ready to play hard and party harder, but his teams poor performance has dampened his spirits. Now knowing that he hasn't impressed enough to warrant a high draft pick, Chuck is resigned to play where ever he ends up.
While watching the draft, waiting ages for his name to be called, Chuck had an epiphany. It didn't matter what team he got drafted by, or what round he got drafted in. That fire burning inside him, growing with every pick? He was going to use that as motivation to be the best. So what he fell to the 40 somethingth pick. So what that he didn't get drafted by any of the teams that seriously scouted him. So what that he got drafted to the worst team from last year. Chuck is going to make everyone who didn't draft him regret it.
Being an offensive lineman isn't a glorious life, it's a life of grinding, it's a life of anonymity. Chuck's ready for it. But are his opponents ready for him?
