Hilliard's not so cool trivia fact. By this point most of you know who Rashad Hilliard is, if not you are going to at least know what he is most known for and it isn’t his league-leading, seven interceptions, rookie season that he had last year. No, it isn’t the fact he is arguably one of the best up and coming cornerbacks in the league. Heck, it isn’t even the pure selflessness he has when he was willing to switch from the one thing, he was great at, being a running back. Sadly, what he will go down in history for, is the great snub of season 23. After briefly speaking with Hilliard going into the award show he was confident that he was a front runner for the defensive back of the year. So confident he was already throwing his DBOTY party celebrating his great accomplishment (I wasn’t invited to that by the way). The moment finally came, and he lost, not only did he lose but it was by one vote. In a now lost video recording, we were able to catch the moment of despair. All he had to say was “They straight hoed me like that huh?” right before storming off to his bedroom where he wasn’t seen for days. Some say he is still trying to track down the person who didn’t vote for him, who knows if he will ever find them.
