(S24) - PT 1 - Trivia Night

Since I am, honestly, not too active in the discord I am going to tell you a story of one of my friends. This guy is a football fanatic and he also likes video games, fantasy football and pen and papers. After I first read about the ISFL (or rather the NSFL back then) I was hyped up about the concept of sim leagues since I did not hear about something like that. I wanted to get him to join the league since it would not only benefit the league but it would also be a lot more fun for the both of us. He hesitated at first so I played my rookie season without knowing anybody in this forum personally. As I spent time in this league my joy rose and rose. The following season I finally persuaded him to try it out and that was not without many struggles. He was overwhelmed by the forum design, was not able to navigate the forum like he wanted to. He also would have had to wait until the season started. A couple weeks later the DSFL Draft happened. My good friend who did not log into his account after the day I showed him around in the forum got picked with the very last pick. I was a bit dissapointed, since I really wished he would have given this league a chance. His player did not play too bad with his 57TPE but it was not a good pick at all for the greyducks. I occassionally talked to him about how his player did and that he even was a trivia answer and he answered "Oh, I really have to log into the account again", which he never did.
