James Lewandowski is not just a pro tight end. He has many other hobbies that he enjoys in the offseasson. Besides being a championship cornhole player, he also is a top tier ranked amateur in disc golf. He has played both of these sports since college and is always trying out new activities. Whether it is speedminton, ultimate disc, pickleball, or chess, he does not rest on his football talents. These other sports and activities keep his mind sharp, his coordination tight, and allow the competitive nature of Lewandowski to continue year round. His friends and family sometimes laugh at the strange games he gets into on occasion. This was especially true when he spent a few months trying to master Headis (a game played on a ping pong table with a small ball, and using only your head instead of a racket). These types of games are nothing new for Lewandowski, and it is this type of practice and exploration that has made him a better all around football player. He does not let the media distractions get to him because he is always focusing on his quality of life, and his favorite way to do that is to enjoy his strange sporting hobbies. He doesn’t let the outside chatter define him. He puts his head down and just goes to work, with the goal being to master any craft he puts his mind to and the result is usually a success.
