How insane was Darrel Williams' debut in S19? That's the trivia question I'm ready to answer. Darrel began his career as a lowly player on the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers, but after being drafted #1 overall to the Minnesota Grey Ducks he was immediately ready to show the league what exactly he could do and he did not disappoint in the team's first game. Sure, it was against a bot team, but a huge performance is a huge performance and Darrel Williams dominated from start to finish. His statline was an incredible 192 yard, two touchdown performance, and he did all of this on just twenty carries, therefore averaging a whopping 9.6 YPC. Did I mention this was Darrel Williams' first game after being drafted? One of the most impressive parts of this performance was Darrel Williams' incredible 78 yard run that occurred during the second quarter of the game, the longest run of the season for Darrel and almost certainly the longest run of his entire career. This run immediately told the rest of the DSFL that Darrel was on the map. This game has become a bit more forgotten in recent years as Darrel continues to sit in the category of "solid players", but it was regarded as one of the top three individual performances of the nineteenth season of the DSFL.
