In a recent ISFL Werewolf game the bad guy squad was absolutely crushing it. A near all star caliber team was just making great decisions left, right, and center and wiped the town out in four days with only one loss. Said loss was entirely accidentally of our own making too. We got distracted about who to use our other roles on and the last person we'd mentioned for poisoning ended up being the choice by default. He then went on to poison our poisoner ironically enough. overall though, we were able to quickly identify and remove some of the strongest pieces that the town had from the boar. We also took away many of its loudest voices, allowing us to dominate conversation as well. No matter what theories the town believed, they were following a wolf.
The town was hindered early when a strong player and one of the strongest players got into an argument that kind of distracted focus as well. No one noticed the wolves taking advantage of this by seeing to the voting out of one of the players. The town also didn't notice when several great reads were made by its players. reads that could have made things a lot more difficult for us. In the end, we simply steamrolled a town that clearly wasn't ready to deal with losing its strongest voices that early. Just as we'd planned. Our reward for this was for the Mod, who shall remain nameless, to complain about his game setup and deny any of us an MVP. Blaming himself for how hard we dominated instead of crediting our excellent performance. I think the MVP should go to Jonny2x, the turncoat who drove so much conversation into areas the benefited our team, even while being unable to communicate with us.
As it stands, there will be no MVP because someone got lost in his own ego.
