I've had one goal that's dominated my thoughts the last few seasons. You see, in New Orleans, the amazing juosu keeps top ten lists for everything in terms of team stats. The lists are amazing. Getting to appear on one of the lists felt like such an honor, and as such I've been focused on getting on as many of those lists as I possibly can. Some of these lists are fairly easy to hit, particularly the season and career lists. But the set of lists that have eluded me up to now have been the game records list. As an efficient running back, the rushing average top ten list has been my specific priority. Now, the rules are simple. Must be on 10+ carries, with the lowest entry on the list being 6.1 yards per carry. I've gotten close in past games, but have usually been a carry or two short of making the mark. Well, this season, I've managed to meet this goal TWO times in just the first 4 games. In the first NOLA game of the season, I managed to truly hit the ground running with a 6.5 ypc, putting me in the #9 spot on the list. This was an amazing feeling of course, but I'm always looking to one up myself. So, in the third game of the season, we came in at a cool 6.7 ypc, moving my previous performance into the #10 spot and scooting in at #8. While this little trivia tidbit might not matter to anyone else, it's something that I'm immensely pleased with. I'm now going to have to figure out what my next career goal will be with Toriki!
