(S24) - PT 1 - Trivia Night

Here in Minnesota, us Grey Ducks felt like we were coming off of one of the best drafts ever. Our team was looking stacked, our 1/2 running back punch was actually disgusting, our defense was stacking up very nicely, we really thought that we had a chance to be the best team in the league, and chase that elusive undefeated season. No one in the locker room could remember if anyone HAD ever gone undefeated in the DSFL, but dammit if they hadn’t we were determined to be the first. Then week one rolls around, and we’re seeing the London Royals. I team we dismantled in the preseason. And yes I know preseason doesn’t mean anything, but we still dismantled them. We thought they’d be a walk in the park and we were gonna get our season off to a good start. What happened next? We lost. Just like trivia, we were reduced to atoms. Our egos crushed! We were down 3 scores early, but managed to scrape back and only lose 24-21. Its a shame that we started the season in the L column, but our running game was fire (as always) and we fought back in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarter. Our goal now? 13-1. We want the ring and anything less is a sad season.
