Seriously, it sounds like somebody somewhere should've put an accent mark over the "a". Also, English announcers are notoriously bad at names with accent marks (I don't think I've ever actually heard a BPL pundit correctly pronounce Chicharito). But they're New Zealand announcers, so f*ck it.

Yeah true, I guess it's Samoan so maybe they don't use accents, not 100% sure. But yeah English football commentators are laughable, any German or Dutch name that you can usually apply generic rules they still fuck it up (for example the silent "j" or pronouncing the "w" as "v")
