(S24) - PT 1 - Trivia Night

Written Option: Trivia is gone, reduced to atoms. But the spirit of discovery still remains. In 200 words or more, tell a small story about something that has happened to either you or one of your players - could be a locker room debate, a discord game, or a disappointing performance on the field. Feel free to explore and say something not many other people know.

First of all let me just say, rest in piece Trivia, I hope one day they will return.

During one of our earliest Hahalua group events we decided to play some good ol Jackbox. For those unaware, jackbox is a game you can play with friends using only ur phone to write in prompts and other stuff easy to do games. It is also the ultimus test to see who can be the unfunniest.

We played a good selection of games with the high light being Tee K.O. Which is a game in which you make t-shirt designs and t-shirt captions. Then you get random designs/captions from a select pool and have to choose the best combination of design and caption.

Being edgy young adults a ton of our captions were self depricating jokes, depressing quotes and sex.

While non of my shirts won, I did have a caption which did very well in the K.O. rounds. The caption was 'Not even Jesus can save your soul'. It got a good reaction from the crowd and it made it very far into the tournament from a very early start.

Also I always made a solid depressing sonic design, which has also never won, but it always wins in my heart.

Anyways if you havent done any jackbox stuff, I highly recommend.
