You might think that after receiving callups, the Norfolk Seawolves would have their stock drop compared to their ultimini season. After all, their kicker who was a part of the Ultimini team (and who was the Player of the Game for both playoff games) was an integral part of that team. However, this year Norfolk do not have their beloved Daria Guava-Fresca. Instead, taking her place is the terrifying Melvin Murder-Moose. Now you might wonder how a moose taking the place of the kicker would make Norfolk a better team - the reality is, Melvin will straight up scare and probably murderate anyone who comes into contact with Norfolk, on or off the field.
Now you might think that it is unfair, to have a moose who is murdering other players, but at the same time, we have to recognize that Guava-Fresca (a late create, mind you), was able to become kicker of the year and be playoff Player of the Game twice with not nearly the experience that Murder-Moose has. In fact, Murder-Moose has reached stat levels that are better than what Guava-Fresca had to offer in her first season. This means that although Murder-Moose has missed kicks early in his career, Norfolk are willing to attempt field goals more frequently than they were punting early in the season. A 50 yard loss stinks in terms of points and stats, but it also was the potential for more points. I think as Murder-Moose continues this season capped out, you will continue to see great things from Norfolk as a result.
