The Sarasota Sailfish have been surprisingly dominant so far this season. As the only undefeated team in the ISFL, the Sailfish has not only won but have done so convincingly. They crushed the Yeti 34-16 on the road and defeated the defending champion Wraiths 22-19. A large part of their success is thanks to their incredible defense. By allowing only 52 points in 4 games, their defense has far surpassed anyone’s expectations of them.

With their great start, the Sailfish already have half the number of wins they had last season. Going 8-8 last season and finishing in 2nd to last place in a conference with the Butchers left many with middling expectations of Sarasota. This is reflected by their opening stock price of $1,008,777, which was the 7th lowest of the 12 teams. With their incredible start to the season, the Sailfish’s stock price has skyrocketed to $1,275,744. This is the highest of any team in the league by almost $100,000. It is hard to say if Sarasota’s success is due to luck, or if they truly are one of the best teams in the ISFL. All that can be said is that the Sailfish have looked dominant so far and stock in the team is rising more than anyone could have imagined.
