I do not really know much about the league yet, so I do not really know exactly who was expected to play really well and who was expected to play bad. Because of this, I had consulted with my teammates and also looked at what the majority of people had picked at the beginning of the season as the best and worst teams in both divisions. So I am going to base what teams stocks went higher and lower based on the preseason ranking I put.
The biggest stock who has fallen to me was the Chicago Butchers. I bought in to the hype since so many people had them rated very highly because they had a brand new QB and not a bad team overall. Now they have basically become a meme around the league and are no longer contenders in most people eyes, although it is still early in the season so maybe they can turn around.
The second team I think stock has dropped a lot was the Orange County Otters. I constantly saw them winning their division in a majority of peoples list, and if they weren't the top, they were in the top 3. I bought in the hype and ranked them number 1, and they have had a very disappointing start to the season to say the least. They are on a 2 game win streak now so maybe they can turn it around, but at this point I do not think they can still win the division.
The last team I am going to talk about is the Sarasota Sailfish. There were very few people in the league who had this team rated highly, and now here we are where they are the best team in the league. Against all odds they proved everyone wrong and raised their stocks, beating some of the best teams in the league like Yeti and the Wraiths. They have definintly caught the attention of all the other teams, as they still are the only undefeated team in the league so far, even after playing some of the biggest competitors. If the Sailfish can keep this up, there stock will rise even more and we might be seeing them during Ultimus week.
Those three teams in my opinion had the biggest changes in stock so far in the season.
