Speaking about stocks, there is one that for sure pops out to all that look at the market. And it‘s of course the high flying stock of the Sarasota Sailfish. We knew that we have a good team at the start of the season, but it is a bit of a surprise we are still undefeated after 5 games. As the stock values are based off ELO rankings, it means that we also might be first in the ELO power rankings which is nice. When taking a look at the Sarasota season, there is one thing that really stands out so far. The defense is playing at an immense level, they only allowed 58 points in 5 games so far. The leading force on that fierce defense is LB Haha Mango-Panda, who switched position with his counterpart Fawn Dillmiballs in the offseason. He already recorded 5 sacks, 2 interceptions and a forced fumble. On offense, it seems that the pass heavy approach implemented helped them a lot. Although Banks II tends to be picked off, which 8 interceptions show, he still racked up the most passing yards among all QBs. His main receiver so far is James Angler, the TE mostly playing at WR, who stepped up his game even further after an already stellar rookie season. WR Michael Witheblock also contributes much more in the passing game, and leads the league in receiving TDs so far. In the end, Sarasota is a team that made a step forward as a team. Let‘s see were this brings our stock at the end of the season.
