(S24) - PT 2 - Rising Stocks

Well sadly today I'm going to talk about the falling stock of my own team the Chicago Butchers. We had so much hype in our LR going into the season with some big FA acquisitions in Rodriguez and Yoda as well as a big trade that solidified our DL and of course the continued natural progression of an active team. Well as of writing this we are currently no where close to looking like a playoff contender with only one win to show for our efforts. Tons of people bought into us based on the stock market and our already low status and somehow we have sunk even lower since then. It's definitely been frustrating to say the least because it feels like despite everything we have felt like we have done right in rebuilding the team, we aren't going to have a better record than in the seasons leading to Chicago getting a scarlet letter in the league for bad moves and poor performance. It definitely hurts even more because two of our most loyal and talented players in Hockhertz and O'Leary have stuck by this miserable team for so long now and won't be around for when that hard work pays off…..if it even does for us at this point. Maybe I'm just ranting a bit here but just when it seemed like we were going to start making waves in the league the wind has been quickly taken out of our sails. Hopefully the back half of the season will bring more success.
