First move is in, and as I feared the Backstabbr engine is proving to be a pain in the ass. The fact that it allows impossible moves to be entered was on display in turn 1 from multiple powers. Turns out that it's super hard to get move images from the engine for update reports as well... I can't possibly do it on mobile alone so the pictures of the updates in the thread will have to wait until next week.
Playdiplomacy.com has an engine that doesn't allow impossible moves. The messaging service is a bit more opaque and antiquated, but that's ok generally. There are shortcomings to it, but I know that the AARs will be easier with their photo system. We also would probably be given completely new powers to play with on the new PD.com game.
Backstabbr will contribute to have the best sandbox simulator for checking your moves. If strongly suggest using that for seeing how stuff we'll come together.
I leave up to you guys as to whether you want to continue this game from this place, start a new one on playdiplomacy.com or if the game no longer appeals to you...(it is a good deal of writing). Sorry for any confusion leading into this turn!
Vote in the thread and I'll follow your collective wishes.
