The DSFL draft can be a bit of a crapshoot as you get into the later rounds, with over 100 prospects in this season's DSFL, draft it can be quite difficult to find an active player in the later rounds. When you are drafted in the 10th round in a draft class this big you aren't expected to be a big contributor. L'Gazzy Burfict, a linebacker, was selected in the 10th round of the DSFL draft by the London Royals. In week 1 Burfict got his first tackle in the DSFL four minutes in, and early in the second quarter he got two tackles in what was a three and out. In week 2 Burfict was continuously able to stop the run, as only one run where he made the tackle went for over 5 yards, and 5 of his tackles were less than 3 yard gains. In week 3 Burfict had three tackles on one drive early in the third quarter, but the fourth quarter had something very special for Burfict, with less than two minutes left in the game Burfict got his first sack. Week 4 was an absolute slaughter as London beat Dallas 31-0, Burfict had only two tackles this game, but he made his first one count, halfway through the second quarter on 3rd and short, Burfict got a sack. He has also gone up to 179 TPE. L'Gazzy Burfict's stock has gone up significantly from the start of the season.
