For the Philadelphia Liberty, the only direction the team has gone is straight down into the gutters. At this rate their stock values will be closer to penny stocks with how much they’re plummeting down. That might be a big of an exaggeration as a lot of the games they have played so far are 50/50 coin flips in terms of the matchup but at a certain period, losing so many of those coin flips has to be astronomically miniscule odds which continues to happen more often than not. There really isn’t any one particular area that you could point towards to in terms of why things have turned out the way they have for the Liberty. For example, the offense despite having a variety of talented players in all kinds of positions especially some of the more important ones with QB and RB, they haven’t really stood out in either rush or passing categories. The running game has seen slightly better days but like the passing one, sees regular periods where it’s a 3 and out regardless of whichever team they play. The defense has also been lacklustre save for their pass defense which could at least be seen as below league average, though still not great. The biggest issue for that besides constantly rolling over as opposing teams gain 1st yard downage on runs, is the inability to prevent massive gains over the air. This would happened repeatedly in 1v1 and 1v2 scenarios where the receiver appears to be covered, but more often than not, the pass isn’t stopped and tackles are missed.
